The Humans Are Dead - Full version

Convocation success!!

Friday's convocation (a.k.a. Silly Hat convention) went smoooooth and well. Thanks to my awesome, geeky family for all the love and support! I'm so glad you all survived the very long, and quite boring ceremony, so that we could all thoroughly enjoy the celebration afterwards!!!

And it all starts again...

Master's Thesis defended and done! Yay!
Which sets me up to begin my PhD, of course. This fall I begin an interdisciplinary program in Computer Science and Psychology. Specifically I'm interested in human problem solving. I'm looking forward to fun new opportunities!

Off the radar

So I have seemingly been slack in posting to this blog. True enough.
But that is one of the negative side-effects of living on a little remote island. Broken inverter = no power = no internet = unhappy student...
But now I'm on the road on my world tour, and am back in touch with "reality".

False Robotics Update

We finally got our medals for participating in the BC Regional Championships! The kids were stoked!
